Man sentenced whose arrest led to Operation Baker's Dozen drug bust
A third person has been sentenced in the Operation Baker's Dozen drug bust that took place back in May.
41-year-old Thomas Berry of Brownwood received 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to engaging in organized criminal activity and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
Barry was one of three arrested in January in a traffic stop in Blanket. Deputies were watching for the vehicle after receiving a tip the three were in route to Stephenville to buy drugs from a regional supplier.
Operation Baker's Dozen resulted in several arrests in the Heartland area of those involved in multiple offenses involving drugs.
