Springtime weather is on the way
A cold front that moved through our region early this morning brought much cooler air to the area.
After seeing temperatures in the upper 40s and low 50s, we'll cool off into the mid 30s tonight. Look for clear skies early in the evening with an increase in cloud cover expected toward Tuesday morning.
Tuesday afternoon, we'll see much warmer temps as we top out in the mid 60s. Partly cloudy skies will stay with us throughout the day and into the evening hours.
Wednesday begins in the mid 40s before soaring past the normal temperatures for January and settling around 70 degrees by the afternoon.
Southwest winds will increase ahead of our next cold front, blowing in between 15 and 20 mph. Partly cloudy skies in the morning will give way to clear skies during the afternoon.
Thursday starts out around 50 degrees with clear skies. We'll see even more warm weather Thursday afternoon with highs in the mid 70s. Southwest winds will continue to blow between 10 and 20 mph.
Thursday night, we're tracking a cold front that will move through causing a windshift and ushering in cooler temps.
Friday starts out in the low 40s before only warming to around 60 by the afternoon hours.
Breezy winds stay with us through the day on Friday, blowing in from the north at 10 to 20 mph.
The winds calm down a bit overnight, allowing temperatures to fall down to around 32 degrees to start the weekend.
We'll top out around 60 by the afternoon hours on Saturday.
We're tracking a disturbance to our north on Saturday evening that looks to bring an increase in cloud cover, but no rainfall for now.
Sunday starts out in the upper 30s before we warm to near 60.
For Monday afternoon, a warmer day is expected with temperatures, before sunrise, in the mid 40s, warming to the upper 60s throughout the day.
