From Taylor County Sheriff’s Office spokesman John Cummins:
12/31/12 11:42 PM – As a deputy was driving past a residence in the 300 block of Mulberry Road in Merkel, several subjects began yelling at him. One male was arrested for disorderly conduct.
01/01/13 1:37 AM – Calling Party in Buffalo Gap states he was involved in an altercation with a family member. Relative in a wheelchair supposedly assaulted CP's wife, then the CP. CP struck the male in the wheelchair, knocking him to the ground. Officers determined that all involved parties were intoxicated, and no one wanted to file charges. Subjects agreed to stay separated inside the home, and CP and wife will be leaving town the following day.
