Warmer and windier Thursday
A mist or drizzle has returned to the region Wednesday evening. This will continue into the morning Thursday.
As breezy south winds return Thursday morning, the mist will list. More normal temperatures will return to our region Thursday afternoon. Some breaks in the clouds are expected and there is a chance of a few showers mainly in the Heartland Thursday afternoon.
Partly cloudy skies and warm conditions are back for Thursday night with lows in the middle 60s. Look for mostly cloudy skies, windy conditions and highs in the middle 80s Friday afternoon.
Thunderstorms should move into far west Texas Friday night, but will likely stay west of the Big Country, Concho Valley and Heartland for Friday evening.
A weak cold front is forecast to move into our region during the day Saturday and bring decent chances of showers and thundershowers to areas especially east of Abilene.
This front will likely stall over our region Saturday night and still be with us Sunday. So, scattered thundershowers will be possible for us again Sunday afternoon.
Even with the front in the area, temperatures should still climb to around 80 Saturday and Sunday.
