Mark Rowlett: Tracking Monday rain chances
Above normal temperatures have quickly returned to our region. High temperatures Friday were in the middle to upper 90s. Similar conditions are expected for Saturday with fair skies.
Some clouds may return Sunday as weak disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico drifts towards the Texas Coast. Temperatures should still reach the upper 90s Sunday.
By Monday, we could see some showers move into the Concho Valley and Heartland during the afternoon. Partly cloudy skies are expected for the rest of our region.
This disturbance will likely be too weak or too far away to bring much of a chance of showers for Tuesday. So, dry weather and above normal temperatures are expected for Tuesday and the rest of the work week.
