Inmates at a women's prison in Oregon were rushed indoors after a hot air balloon landed in the parking lot.
But it wasn't an escape attempt, as prison officials first feared.
The pilot told authorities at the Coffee Creek Correctional Facility that he had just run out of gas while participating in a hot air balloon festival nearby.
He decided the prison parking lot south of Portland was the easiest spot to land, according to The Oregonian.
No one was injured.
Inmates were kept inside for about a half-hour until the balloon was removed.
