The 10th annual H-E-B Feast of Sharing Tuesday night served a holiday meal to nearly 7,000 people.
H-E-B Unit Director David McKenzie said it was a "great evening and a great event."
McKenzie said people seemed to enjoy the new entertainment that was on stage and one of the biggest successes of the evening was free flu mist vaccinations.
According to McKenzie, nearly 300 children were able to get the vaccination at no cost.
The line to see Santa Claus stayed long all night and McKenzie said the jolly old soul was a big hit.
McKenzie thanked the 540 volunteers who showed up and said they made the night run smoothly.
