Abilene Police: Ministry workers car stolen from church lot

Flashy cars aren't always the first targets of car thieves. Check out the 10 most stolen vehicles in 2011, according to a new report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau.

ABILENE, Texas -

An Abilene woman reported her car was stolen from a church parking lot while she was doing ministry work Friday.

According to police, the car was stolen from The Mission parking lot on the corner of North 3rd and Mockingbird streets.

The victim said she was doing ministry work in the surrounding neighborhood at the time. Her wallet, driving license and debit card were also in the car.

The car is a silver 2002 Chevrolet Malibu.
