Abilene pulls in more than $150k in first days of Great Texas Warrant Roundup
Abilene has collected more than $150,000 in revenue in the first four days of the Great Texas Warrant Roundup.
Law enforcement began going door-to-door Saturday to track down people with outstanding warrants.
So far 261 warrants have been cleared, bringing in a total revenue of $153,783.21.
The roundup runs through Sunday, March 10.
People with outstanding warrants are encouraged to come by the Abilene Municipal Court located in City Hall at 555 Walnut Street to figure out a payment plan.
Warrants can also be payed online; however, online payments will be subject to the full amount. You can reach the court at (325) 676-6333. Phone calls do not count as an appearance.
