BROWNWOOD, Texas -

Booths were set up by local businesses to display the goods and services they offer.

There were 60 vendors inside the coliseum Thursday, and several were repeat customers who say the showcase really boosts their business.

Visitors strolled through the coliseum, getting their Expo BINGO cards stamped at each booth they visited.

This offered local businesses exposure, and visitors a look at what they have to offer.

The State Farm booth has made an appearance at the showcase since it started.

"As a small business owner, it's good for me to meet people in the community, and it's also great to connect with the other businesses," said Brownwood State Farm Agent Mike Hall.

Hall said there's a reason they keep coming back.

"Poling the other people that I know that are here that own businesses, you know, we all benefit from having these types of events," said Hall.

Brownwood resident John Martin visits the showcase each year.

"We like to see the new businesses that are opening up, and Brownwood growing, and a lot of things we don't know about that we need, we find right here," said Martin.

The TSTC booth had gadgets on display, showing their hands on approach as a technical college, and Heartland Mall put on a mini fashion show.

Everywhere you looked, people were networking and exchanging information.
