BROWNWOOD, Texas -

Brownwood ISD faculty, staff, and students were decked out in pink Friday for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

They sported their custom made "leaping for a cure" t-shirts.

All Brownwood ISD schools participated in the event.

Friday all of the schools met at Brownwood High School for a pep rally to get students excited for Friday nights football game against the Lampasas Badgers.

Students were even allowed to wear pink hats and temporarily dye their hair pink.

The money they raise will benefit local families dealing with breast cancer.
