Identity of third victim, suspected cause of deadly Lake Brownwood blaze revealed
The Brown County Sheriff's Office has received positive identity of the woman killed along with two men in a mobile home fire near Lake Brownwood early Monday morning.
Captain of Operations Tony Aaron said the woman was identified as Deleah Taggart, 47.
Taggart was found dead in the mobile home along with Denman Cain Jr., 42, and Eddie Jowers, 45, who owned the mobile home.
Aaron said Taggart was a close friend or girlfriend of Jowers.
Preliminary autopsy results revealed Taggart and Jowers died from smoke inhalation, and Cain died from smoke inhalation with thermal burns.
Although it's not conclusive, Aaron said the suspected cause of the fire is electrical in nature and appears accidental. He said no foul play is suspected.
