Lighted Christmas parade in Brownwood

BROWNWOOD, Texas -

The Lighted Christmas Parade in Brownwood is Thursday night.

The parade is part of the 4th Annual Christmas Under the Stars Festival.

The parade will start at 6 p.m. at the Depot Complex downtown, and will travel down Center Avenue and around the courthouse.

The parade will feature 100 entries from marching bands, lighted floats, horses, and Santa Clause.

Southside Church organizes the parade, and announced the Grand Marshal is Family Services Center.

There will be vendors selling hot chocolate and glow toys for the kids.

The parade will be broadcast live this year in the Wendlee Broadcast stations as well as KOXE.
