Spring means severe weather: Are you ready?
Severe Weather Awareness Week aims to help west Texas prepare for the worst of the severe weather season.
During the week of March 3rd through the 9th, the National Weather Service out of San Angelo wants everyone to think about their weather safety plans.
Before severe weather strikes, it's important to go over a plan at your home, business, or school.
It's also important to know two ways to get weather alerts, whether it's through your cell phone, television, or radio.
Activities for Severe Weather Awareness week including several public service announcements and a tornado drill for schools of the area.
The drill is scheduled to take place Wednesday, March 6th at 9:30 a.m.
