Abilene man allegedly fires three shots at wife

ABILENE, Texas -

An Abilene man was arrested Saturday for allegedly shooting at his wife after an argument.

According to police, 35-year-old Gabriel Flores got into a verbal argument with his wife around 4:30 a.m. and allegedly pushed her, causing injury.

The victim told police Flores allegedly grabbed a handgun and fired three shots at her. She said she could hear the bullets "whiz" by her head and hit the wall behind her.

Police said they found one of the rounds at the scene and Flores allegedly confessed to firing the gun.
