Many houses reported damage to their mailbox and trash cans. Between the hours of 1 a.m. to 3 a.m. Wednesday there were reports of loud crashing noises and tires screeching.
Neighbors then woke up to their mailboxes either ripped of the ground or not even there. Eleven mailboxes were either destroyed or found a block away.
"Summer time, kids will be kids but I’m sure they’ll be held accountable if they’re found,” said Juvenile Correctional Officer, Zack Quinn, who was one of the many victims.
Another neighbor stated he saw a black Ford Expedition driving recklessly in the 7-11 parking lot. Police are now trying to obtain surveillance footage from that night.

Some may not know that a mailbox is considered federal property. If one is damaged that can lead to $250,000 in fines and up to 3 years jail time.
