Bangs ISD parking lots receive green light for donated no-parking signs
Bangs ISD received a gift they've never gotten before – free no-parking signs. 3M donated 15 signs to the three campuses in the school district.
3M representative and Bangs ISD graduate Jason Duncan came up with the idea.
"The signs were made out of non-resellable material so we thought this would be a good way to give back to the community," Duncan said.
The signs will be placed by the next school year.
"We did a study last fall on how we can make our parking lots safer," Bangs ISD Superintendent Bill Foster said.
Foster said these new signs will be one of the solutions that will make it safer for kids and will help ease the flow of traffic during school hours.
