Blanket Frontier Day scheduled for Saturday

BLANKET, Texas -

The third annual Blanket Frontier Day festival is this Saturday.

The event starts at 9 a.m. by The Whistle Stop in Blanket. It will consist of various activities such as a barbecue cook-off and a parade, which begins at 2 p.m. The lineup will start at 1 p.m.

The public will have the opportunity to visit at least 35 vendor booths. They will also have a chance to participate in a raffle and win an 870 Remington 12-gauge shotgun.

Street dancing will begin at 8 p.m.
