Five more feet of water into Eastland's primary water source has city officials calling off stage one water restrictions.
Over the last three days, parts of Eastland County have received upwards of eight inches of rain. Lake Leon, south of the city has been the beneficiary. As of 4 p.m. Thursday, the lake is sitting one foot below full and up five feet since Sunday.
Lake Leon and neighboring Lake Cisco are two the two lakes that have benefited most from these July rains. Lake Cisco is up over 13 feet.
Though stage one restrictions have been lifted, residents may only water on the three watering days set for them by the city.
Addresses ending in odd numbers may only water outside on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and addresses ending in even numbers may only water outside on Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays. There is no limit set to what time of day you can water.
