ABILENE, Texas -

Numerous Democrat and Republican Party primary elections were held and decided Tuesday in Abilene and the Big Country.

In the race that caused the greatest stir locally heading into election day, Paul Rotenberry defeated Claire Mehaffey and Mary Ann Fergus in the Republican primary battle for 326th District Court Judge.
