Man allegedly threatens to kill family member over car keys

A Keller man was arrested in north Abilene during August 2013 after allegedly threatening to kill his cousin over a car.

John Lozano, 23, allegedly pushed his cousin against a wall and demanded his cousin’s car keys. Lozano allegedly threatened to kill his cousin, who relinquished the car keys.

ABILENE, Texas -

A Keller man was arrested in north Abilene Saturday after allegedly threatening to kill his cousin over a car.

John Lozano, 23, was arrested around 4 a.m. Saturday. According to police, Lozano pushed his cousin against a wall and demanded his cousin’s car keys. Lozano allegedly threatened to kill his cousin, who relinquished the car keys.

Lozano was charged with second degree felony robbery and was also found to have an outstanding warrant from Fort Worth for allegedly causing serious bodily injury to a family member.

As of Sunday, Lozano is in the Taylor County Jail on $15,000 bond.
