ABILENE, Texas -

Antione Perez, 17, was arrested Wednesday afternoon after allegedly breaking into an Abilene head shop and leading police on a 10 block foot chase.

According to police, Perez threw a skateboard through the windows of Puff Puff Pass on Grape Street around 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Officers said he sought K2 during the burglary and he allegedly led officers on a 10 block foot chase when he was spotted.

He was arrested on Beech Street a short time later and police said they found the synthetic drug packets in his backpack.

He is charged with evading arrest and burglary of a building.
