Parents gathered Tuesday at Mann Middle School to hear about an Abilene ISD proposal for dress codes that would go into effect for middle school students.
Two information meetings were held Tuesday, and two more are scheduled for December 9. Those will take place at Craig and Madison middle schools at 6:30 p.m.
The proposed dress would be khaki pants or shorts and a polo for boys. Girls could wear khaki pants, shorts or a skort and a polo.
The district is hoping to begin the standardized dress for the kids in the 2014-2015 school year.
