The prosecution has rested its case against 34-year-old Robert Latham.

Latham is being tried in 104th District Court for the alleged stabbing of Raimee Brown. She was 19-years-old when police said Latham stabbed her at a home on Matador Street.

A witness told police the stabbing was unusual because there wasn't a real altercation leading up to it.

A prosecution witness said Latham began acting strange and attacked the victim.

Brown said she had been smoking meth at the home prior to the stabbing

She said she's since moved out of the area and quit doing drugs.
