After the storms this week, the City of Abilene's recycling center has been one of the busiest places in town.
Tree limbs are everywhere and they need a place to go.
People have been hauling tree limbs in by the truckload.
"I've been working on the clean up ever since Tuesday morning after that storm hit and I've been hauling about six to seven loads a day," said Kirk Dowell.
Tom Hadder, who lives in Florida, but has come to Abilene to help with the clean up efforts, has been at the recycling center a lot lately, too.
"I've brought in 21 loads in two days," Hadder said. "I've been out cutting trees out of people's yards and doing what we can do."
Fernando Jaramillo has lived in Abilene nearly 25 years; he said the recent storm damage is the worst he's seen.
"There's a lot of tree stuff, mainly," Jaramillo said. "It's pretty bad. Lots of work to do."
Hadder said the work won't be slowing down any time soon.
"There's probably another week of this," Hadder said.
