RVING, Texas (AP) -

Retail gasoline prices across Texas have jumped by more than a dime in the last week.
AAA Texas on Tuesday reported the average statewide per-gallon price at the pump reached $3.14, an increase from $3.01 last week.
The national average for a gallon of unleaded is $3.29.
Of the metro areas in Texas surveyed by AAA, drivers in Dallas and Fort Worth are paying the most at $3.21. Motorists in Amarillo are paying the least at $3.
After several months of declines, gas prices in many states have moved higher over the last two weeks.
AAA says that of the 3.4 million Texans forecast to travel Wednesday through Sunday for the Thanksgiving holiday, 3.1 million are expected to travel by automobile.
