Sheriff says body of man, 20, found in Texas river
SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Authorities say they have identified the body of a man pulled from the Guadalupe River as a 20-year-old from Austin who had been spending the day with friends.
The Comal County Sheriff's Office says Sean Ryan Hadley had been floating down the Central Texas river with friends Saturday when he disappeared under the water. They say his friends called 911 from a nearby campground.
Sheriff's deputies, rescue workers and a dive team searched for his body. They say his body was found about 20 feet from the river bank in about 8 to 10 feet of water.
