ABILENE, TX -

As summer begins to wind down and the fall season's are within a month away, some student athletes are finding a few more opportunities to take their game to the next level. That's what some talented soccer players did at Hardin Simmons University.

Day one of HSU's high school prospect camp began Friday for talented high school players interested in getting collegiate coaching instruction and individual evaluation.

The camp spans three days of conditioning, drills, and other exercises designed to give the young players the opportunity to get some experience in front of college coaches. As many hope to continue their soccer careers beyond the high school level.

Players ranged from HSU incoming freshman, to recruits, to those traveling to visit the campus and work out in hopes to be recruited.

Along with team and group play, each camper will get personalized instruction and feedback, aimed at improving each player's level of ability as they near the end of their high school careers.
