SAN ANTONIO (AP) -

A South Texas military installation and affiliated agencies will add more than 1,100 personnel as part of increased cybersecurity duty.

Congressmen Henry Cuellar and Pete Gallego on Wednesday announced expansion of the cybersecurity mission at Joint Base San Antonio.

Cuellar said the additional personnel will include military and civilians. Some National Security Agency workers in San Antonio are also part of the project.

Gallego said cybersecurity is one of the biggest national security priorities.
