A third felony charge was added to the recent arrest of Oklahoma State freshman running back Devon Thomas, according to the Tulsa World.

The newspaper initially reported that Thomas was arrested on felony charges of armed robbery and shooting with intent to kill.

Thomas, who was scheduled for arraignment on Friday, was also charged with first-degree burglary.

According to police reports, Thomas was part of a small group accused of breaking into a home in Broken Arrow, Okla., forcing someone into a bedroom and threatening to shoot while waiting for another person to arrive at the home so they could rob him.

The alleged victim told police the men took marijuana, money, shoes and other clothing. The victim claimed he knew the intruders for years and Thomas was the only one carrying a gun.

The intruders then forced the victim to leave. After getting into his car, one of the suspects shot through the vehicle's rear windshield. The bullet grazed the driver's side headrest and barely missed the victim.

Thomas and the other suspects were arrested May 28. Thomas denied he had a firearm in his possession or fired any shots during the alleged robbery. After spending four days in jail, he was released on $190,000 bond.

Oklahoma State has not commented on Thomas' arrest.

Thomas is one of the Cowboys' top recruits from this year's class. He was ranked by 247Sports.com as a top 250 player nationally and a top 15 running back. He was expected to compete for playing time this fall.
