Giusti was ACU's best hitter vs. the conference during the regular season (.363), and during three LSC postseason games, the Santa Fe, Texas, native went 6-for-10 (.600) with four runs.

Giusti's performance against then-No. 1 ranked Delta State combined with a fine weekend at then-No. 24 Incarnate Word earned him NCAA D-II National Hitter of the Week honors from the NCBWA. Giusti that week hit .550 and ripped two extra-base hits – including a bases-loaded triple vs. the Statesmen.
