ABILENE, Texas -

Temperatures have been running about 15 degrees above normal the past three days.  Closer to normal temperatures are forecast to return Thursday.

A cold front should move through during the daylight hours Thursday.  Look for high temperatures in the middle 60s around midday for Abilene.

Watch out for strong southwest winds around 20 mph in the morning and from the north around 20 mph in the afternoon.

Unfortunately, rain chances with this front look to stay to our north.   Partly cloudy skies are expected for our area for Thursday.

Fair skies and colder conditions are forecast for Thursday night with lows in the 30s.  Enjoy sunshine with highs in the 60s Friday.

Mostly cloudy skies are forecast for Saturday.  Another cold front is forecast to move in late Saturday night and bring a chance of showers to our region for early Sunday morning.

Clearing skies are expected for Sunday with highs in the 60s.  Look for partly cloudy skies Monday.  We are tracking a fairly good chances of showers again for late Monday night and Tuesday.
