One more day of warm weather before another cool down
We're into the 80s for one day before our next cold front brings big changes.
Tonight look for the clouds returning as temps cool to the low 50s. We'll see southeast winds at 10 to 20 mph.
Monday, we'll see clearing skies through the afternoon with afternoon highs warming into the low 80s. South winds will pick up just a bit, coming in at 15 to 20 mph. Overnight the clouds are back but we're tracking our next cold front by Tuesday morning.
As of now, the front will push through around sunrise Tuesday, bringing with it a slight chance for showers. Through the day it will move to the southeast leaving cooler temps in its wake. Tuesday highs will top out in the low 50s, likely ahead of that cold front. During the late afternoon, a disturbance will cross the northern part of the state, increasing rain chances once again. We'll see the chance for showers and storms staying into the early morning hours Wednesday.
Wednesday morning, temps start in the upper 30s before making into the low to mid 60s. Mostly cloudy skies are expected to stay with us into the evening hours. Temps at night bottom out in the mid 40s before our warming trend kicks highs Thursday to around 70.
Rain chances return during the morning hours Friday as another disturbance moves in from northern Mexico. The chance for scattered showers will wane through the day as the disturbance moves east. Highs warm into the upper 70s.
Saturday begins in the mild mid 50s followed by a high of 84. Partly cloudy skies are expected into the evening with temps cooling to around 60. Sunday highs are right back into the low 80s.
