ABILENE, Texas -

After a chilly start Friday morning, warm temperatures will be back for Friday afternoon.  Look for highs in the middle 70s Friday afternoon.  Temperatures are forecast to be in the 80s Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

The dryline is forecast to be in our region Saturday and Sunday.  This boundary between dry air to our west and moist air to our east could help trigger a few late day and evening thunderstorms Saturday and Sunday.

Our next big weather change is forecast for Tuesday.  A fairly strong cold front is forecast to move in Tuesday night.  Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected with the front.

Cooler temperatures are forecast for Wednesday and Thursday with afternoon temperatures back in the 60s.
