ABILENE, Texas -

We are tracking a cold front that should move into our region Sunday afternoon.  Showers and thunderstorms will be possible mainly for the Big Country and Heartland areas for Sunday afternoon and Sunday evening.

Showers and thunderstorms should be east of our region Monday morning.  However, we will be tracking the chance of light snow in the Panhandle for Monday morning.  Dry weather is forecast for our region for Monday.

Before the cold front arrives Sunday, look for gradually moderating temperatures and fair skies.  High temperatures Saturday afternoon should be back up around 60.  Low temperatures Sunday morning should be around 40.  Look for highs Sunday around 70.

Watch out for strong southwest winds Sunday at 20-30 mph.  Even stronger north winds are forecast for Monday with speeds at 25-35 mph with higher gusts.
