ABILENE, Texas -

We are tracking a weak cold front into our region Tuesday evening.  This front will bring noticeably cooler temperatures for Wednesday and mostly cloudy skies.  Rain chance are really too low to mention.  However temperatures should only climb into the lower 70s Wednesday.

This cool air is not expected to stay around long.  Look for breezy south winds back in our area Wednesday night and lows only around 60 Thursday morning.

Even stronger winds are forecast for Thursday at 20 to25 mph from the south.  Temperatures should soar back into the upper 80s Thursday afternoon under partly cloudy skies.

Above normal temperatures are expected for Friday through early next week.  Lows should be in the 60s and highs in the 80s each day.

We are also tracking an upper level low pressure system that is expected to move near our region Friday and Saturday.  Right now, it looks like the better chances of rain and storms will be to our west and north for Friday and Saturday.  We could see a few showers in our area Sunday and Monday.
