ABILENE, Texas -

Warming temperatures returned to our region Thursday.  This warming trend should continue into Saturday.  Look for highs Saturday afternoon in the middle to upper 60s.

We are tracking a weak cold front that should move in Saturday night.  This is not forecast to bring any precipitation.  It will bring slightly cooler temperatures for Saturday night and Sunday.   Low temperatures Sunday morning should be near freezing.  Sunday afternoon temperatures are expected to climb into the lower 60s.

A surge of colder air should blow in Sunday night.  This front too should move through dry.  However, it will be noticeably colder for MLK Monday.  Low temperatures Monday morning should be in the upper 20s and highs should only climb into the upper 40s for Monday afternoon.

This really cold air is not expected to remain with us very long as a warming trend should return Tuesday.

Dry weather is forecast to continue into Friday.
