Tracking freezing temperatures Sunday night
High pressure stays with us for much of the week, keeping things dry and clear.
After a windy day, look for calmer conditions this evening. The winds will calm to between 5 and 10 mph with temps cooling into the upper 20s and low 30s.
By tomorrow, sunny skies are right back in the forecast as highs climb into the mid 60s. This will be the only day where we'll experience near normal afternoon temperatures.
Overnight Monday, look for lows around the mid 30s under still-clear skies.
We'll warm into the low to mid 70s Tuesday afternoon and see temps stay there for much of your work week.
A front looks to stall to the north of the area before getting washed out, having little affect on the Big Country temperature map. Lows will drop to the low 40s by Wednesday morning.
Wednesday and Thursday highs are warming into the upper 70s. Nighttime lows will cool into the mid 40s.
By the end of the work week, we're warming into the 80s. Sunny skies greet us for the start of next weekend with temps in the mild low 50s.
Next weekend, afternoon highs will stay in the low 80s before cooling to the low 50s once again.
