ABILENE, Texas -

After a warm and windy Sunday, a cold front will bring rain chances Sunday night.

We'll see temperatures in the mid 30s to low 40s Saturday night under clear skies.

Look for a breezy day to end the weekend with south winds at 15 to 20 mph. We'll warm into the low 70s under partly cloudy skies.

We're tracking a cold front that will move through the area Sunday night. Ahead of the front, we could see scattered showers developing as early as late Sunday afternoon.

Showers and storms will move through the area before sunrise on Monday, clearing us out from west to east.

Monday starts out in the mid 30s with a fresh north wind at 10 to 20 mph. Monday afternoon will be much cooler with highs in the mid 50s. Winds pick up throughout the day, blowing in at 25 to 30 mph, gusting into the 40s at times.

There is a slight chance for scattered showers Monday. We're tracking snow for the Panhandle so we won't rule out a few flurries north of I-20 in our region.

Things will wind down overnight on Monday with temps cooling into the upper 20s and low 30s.

Quieter weather emerges Tuesday.  Look for afternoon temps in the low 60s before another front brings cooler temps for your Wednesday.

Hump Day starts out in the low 30s before only making it into the low 50s.

Through the end of the work week, we'll see morning temps in the upper 20s and low 30s before we warm into the mid 50s through Friday afternoon.

Saturday, look for temps a few degrees warmer than we've seen lately. We'll begin the day in the mid 30s but warm into the upper 50s by the afternoon.
