Anthony Domol: Late season weekend warmth
Today we are tracking sunny skies across West Central Texas with high temperatures moving into the middle 70s. Southwest winds will be coming in at 10-15mph.
Tonight a much milder overnight is in store with readings only dropping into the upper 50s. Mostly clear conditions during the evening will be followed by a few clouds overnight.
Saturday will begin with a bit of cloud cover across the region. Sunshine will become more plentiful as we approach the noon hour and beyond. Southwest winds will blow more aggressively at 20-25mph.
On Sunday the above normal temperature pattern continues with highs touching 80 degrees once again under mostly sunny skies. Breezy winds from the west will roll in at 15-20mph.
A cold front comes through late Sunday into Monday dropping temperatures back into the middle 60s for Monday afternoon. The mercury should respond heading into the mid week period as warmer air moves back in from the south and west. Highs will approach 70 degrees once again.
Quiet weather looks to hold through Wednesday.
