Anthony Domol: Sunny, dry, and much warmer Thursday

Today we follow continued warming across West Texas!
Temperatures will be very near 70 degrees by late afternoon under mostly sunny skies. Southerly winds initially at 5-15mph will shift to the west northwest as we go along.
Tonight generally mostly clear conditions are expected with an overnight low in the middle 40s.
Expansive sunshine greets us once again on Friday morning. A weak cold front moving through early in the day will keep readings in the middle and upper 60s for afternoon highs.
Absolutely beautiful weather is projected for the weekend. Plentiful sunshine on Saturday warms us to near 80 degrees. Some additional high clouds may stream in on Sunday but good sunshine is still in the forecast. Look for highs in the lower 80s.
Another weak cold front will arrive in the Big Country late Monday morning. This will have little effect on our weather conditions other than adding a few high clouds into the mix. Sunshine is still expected to push the mercury into the lower 70s.
Dry and mild weather persist into Tuesday as well. The thermometer continues its above normal trend and shows temperatures in the mid 70s.
Despite a bit more cloud cover mixing with sunshine on Wednesday, readings very likely will surge into the upper 70s to near 80 degrees once again.
