Anthony Domol: Dry conditions expected Tuesday

After a period of scattered showers and thunderstorms last week, we have seen a stretch of nice weather take hold and it looks to continue at least a couple more days. Today we are looking for mostly sunny skies once again and a high around 94 degrees. Comfortable humidity levels will continue across the area. Winds will be from the south at 5-10 mph.
Wednesday is forecast to see plenty of sunshine. A few clouds in the afternoon can be expected but the Big Country should stay dry. Extreme southern sections can pop an afternoon or evening thundershower but chances on Wednesday are only around 10% at best. Highs in the mid 90s will be common.
The afternoons of Thursday, Friday, and Saturday appear to be the most likely time frames to see some scattered showers and thundershowers make an appearance across the region. An increasingly moist fetch off the Gulf of Mexico will lend a hand to this. Computer models continue to indicate that the best chances for scattered thundershowers will be in our southern viewing area. Otherwise expect partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the low to mid 90s. At this point, Sunday looks to remain dry.
