ABILENE, Texas -

The weak disturbance aided by tropical moisture that brought scattered showers to our region Tuesday is forecast to weaken and move west of our region for Wednesday.

Only isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers are expected  in our area Wednesday.  Look for partly cloudy skies with temperatures climbing into the lower 90s Wednesday afternoon.

Another weak disturbance looks to bring back scattered showers to especially the Heartland and Concho Valley Thursday.

An approaching cold front could bring back decent shower chances for Friday afternoon and evening to especially the Big Country.

We are tracking a tropical disturbance moving west into the Yucatan Peninsula Tuesday evening.  As it moves into the southern Gulf of Mexico Thursday, it could form into a tropical depression.  Some of our weather forecast models are suggesting heavy rainfall could move into our area Monday and Tuesday.
