Mark Rowlett: Quiet weather through Friday
It was noticeably cooler over the region Monday as a dry cold front moved through during the morning. Fair skies are found over the region Monday evening and temperatures are forecast to fall into the lower 40s Tuesday morning.
Maximum sunshine and west winds should push temperatures back into the middle 70s Tuesday afternoon. Dry air and light winds should allow temperatures to drop into the upper 40s Wednesday morning. A little stronger south wind and fair skies should help temperatures climb to around 80 Wednesday afternoon.
We are tracking another dry cold front that should blow in Thursday morning. Look for highs Thursday to be in the upper 60s and near 70 Friday.
An upper level disturbance is forecast to move through our area Saturday. This could create scattered showers or thundershowers Saturday. This system should be east of our area Sunday, so look for a dry Sunday.
