ABILENE, Texas -

We are tracking arctic air moving towards our region Tuesday afternoon.  Winds should increase to around 20 mph Tuesday night and temperatures should drop into the low to middle 20s Wednesday morning.

Under cloudy skies, temperatures should remain in the 20s during the day Wednesday.

It should be cloudy and even colder Wednesday night with lows around 12 Thursday morning.  Clouds should persist through the day Thursday with highs only in the 20s.  We are tracking a chance of light snow for mainly our northern areas Thursday.

Low temperatures Friday morning should be back around 20.  But look for some afternoon sunshine to push temperatures back into the 40s Friday afternoon.

Enjoy sunshine and milder temperatures for Saturday with afternoon readings in the low 60s.  Colder air is expected again Sunday.
