Mark Rowlett: Tracking clouds and milder temperatures
South winds have returned to most of our region. These should help keep temperatures above freezing over most of our area for Wednesday night / Thursday morning. However, lower elevation areas - like Brownwood - will see another freeze Wednesday night / Thursday morning.
We are tracking an upper level disturbance that should move through our region during the day Thursday. It should bring quite a bit of cloudiness back to our area, but showers are unlikely.
This system should be east of our area Thursday night. So, look for mostly fair skies for Thursday night and Friday.
Another disturbance is forecast to move in Saturday morning and return clouds to our region for the first half of the day. Again, showers are not likely.
A fairly strong cold front is expected to blow in Sunday afternoon and bring back back chilly temperatures for the beginning of the week. Rain chance with this front are not promising.
