ABILENE, Texas -

We are tracking a weak cold front that is moving into the Big Country early Friday.  This should help trigger mainly afternoon thundershowers especially in the Big Country.

Showers could continue into the evening - mainly in the Big Country.  So, some football games could be affected.  Watch out for possible lightning.

Showers and thundershowers will be possible again for Saturday afternoon as the wind shift boundary moves back north through our region.  Mostly dry weather is forecast for Sunday.

A Tropical Depression formed in the extreme SW Gulf of Mexico Thursday.  It is forecast to move NW over the next few days.  Land fall is projected to be around Tampico, Mexico Monday.

Tropical moisture from this system that will likely become Tropical Storm Ingrid is forecast move into our region Monday and stay through Wednesday.  This should fuel afternoon thundershowers in our area.
