Mark Rowlett: Tracking more dry weather
Updated On: Jan 15 2014 08:14:32 AM CST
We had a cold front move through our region Tuesday with strong north winds. A trailing upper level disturbance is bringing clouds to our area Tuesday evening. These clouds should be southeast of our region before sunrise.
Look for a clear and cold start to Wednesday with lows in the upper 20s. Nice sunshine and west winds at 10-15 mph should warm us up to around 60 Wednesday afternoon.
Fair skies should continue Wednesday night with most of the region seeing low temperatures in the middle 30s. However, upper 20s are forecast for the Heartland Thursday morning.
Dry cold fronts are forecast to move through Thursday, Saturday and Monday. But with sunny skies, temperatures should still reach the 60s each afternoon through Monday.
