ABILENE, Texas -

An evening cold front Sunday will bring temperatures closer to average for mid-November.

A few clouds will roll in overnight but with little moisture to work with, the rain chances stay out. Lows by Monday morning will be in the mid 40s.

Monday afternoon will bring a bit more cloud cover with highs in the mid to upper 60s.

By Tuesday morning, we're tracking mostly cloudy skies with lows in the mid 40s. By the afternoon, highs will top 70 degrees.

Tuesday night, the mostly cloudy skies will act like a blanket, resulting in mild temperatures. Lows will cool into the mid 50s.

Our warming trend continues Wednesday with highs in the low to mid 70s, once again. Throughout the day we'll see a good mix of clouds and sun.

A weak cold front will move in and eventually stall Wednesday night with lows overnight around 50 degrees.

Rain chances don't come back into the forecast until Thursday night as a disturbance to our west pulls moisture up from the Gulf. Highs will warm to around 70 degrees with a 20% chance for showers.

Friday, the rain chances look better as a stronger cold front pushes in. Look for a 30% chance for showers with highs behind the front topping 60 degrees.

Overnight the moisture won't budge much. We'll keep a 20% chance for rain going with lows around 40 degrees.

Saturday, the moisture will stay in place as an upper level disturbance approaches from the west. Showers will be possible throughout the day with highs, much cooler, around 55 degrees.

Sunday, more of the same. A good mix of clouds and sun with highs around 55.
