Mostly dry & very warm week
High pressure is forecast gradually build over our region during the week. This should help afternoon temperatures to climb to near 100 by the end of the week.
The dryline is still expected to create afternoon and evening thunderstorms to our west. A few of these thunderstorms could make it into our western counties before dissipating for the night. The best chance of this happening looks to be Tuesday.
The rest of our region is forecast to continue with dry weather into the upcoming weekend.
Afternoon temperatures are expected to gradually climb as we move deeper into the week. Look for high temperatures near 100 by Wednesday. Nighttime lows should only drop into the low to middle 70s. This heat should continue into the weekend.
We are tracking a weak disturbance moving westward that might return decent chances of showers to our region next Monday.
